This skinny kid is further proof that the Argentinian football factory just keeps producing talent. Although it’s a little pointless to compare players, Botta’s lightning-fast footwork and ability to play as the enganche (playmaker) or left-sided attacker will inevitably draw comparisons with a young Ronaldinho. He came up through the Boca Juniors ranks, and, since making his debut in the Clausura 2009, is now establishing himself as Tigre’s wildcard. Give him a couple of years to gain some top-flight experience, as well as bulk up a little physically, and this tiger from the Buenos Aires Delta will be ready to roar on to the European scene. Remember the name.
